Development Cycle

Wind energy development is a multifaceted process. These phases are simplified into three stages:

Flowchart showing Development to Construction to Operations

Development: Site Selection, Land Acquisition, Wind Assessment, Environmental, Interconnection, Zoning and Permitting, Financial Analysis, Power Contract, Financing

Construction: Engineering & Design, Turbine Procurement, Ancillary Equipment, Construction, Management, Commissioning

Operations: Operation & Management, Business Management

Advanced Stage Developments

RES Americas is actively engaged in developing wind energy projects across the North Central region. As development progresses, we will update the community on future sites. Please find information below on projects currently under development in Minnesota.
